First Ecologically and Socially Sustainable East Indian Rosewood Worldwide
Dear Sirs,
Theodor Nagel GmbH and its long term Indian supplier for East Indian Rosewood are certified according to FSC-STD-40-004 V2-0 “Standard for Chain of Custody Certification” and to FSC-STD-40-005 (Version 2-1) “Standard for Company Evaluation of FSC Controlled Wood”
After implementation of the above mentioned standards the first East Indian Rosewood worldwide from well managed forest areas can be offered to musical instrument producers. You can now use controlled East Indian Rosewood. You can also combine it with other FSC certified species for building your guitars.
Theodor Nagel GmbH and its supplier are proud to be the first in the world who are in a position to supply controlled East Indian Rosewood to our business partners. We assisted our supplier professionally and neither expenses nor efforts were spared to achieve the certification. The intensive preliminary work proved to be worthwhile – the chain of custody is now completed to our great satisfaction.
We purchase our East Indian Rosewood responsibly contributing to preserve the tropical forests that provide the raw material for musical instruments of high quality. We hope and trust that you will make frequent use of this unique opportunity.
It is our aim to handle the raw material wood with respect and to preserve the forests especially also for the following generations. Together with our Indian supplier we would like to ensure that social and environmental issues are considered and traditional and civil rights are respected as a convincing link between responsible harvesting and conscientious consumption of forest products allowing enterprises and end-users to take purchasing decisions that benefit people as well as the environment.
Dear Sirs, we would be delighted if you informed us about your future needs in East Indian Rosewood, in particular for the 3rd and 4th quarter of 2010. Promptly after knowing the dimensions and qualities you work with we will send you a very special customized offer.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
